Overview
Training delivery/facilitation department leads may work as learning facilitators but also have department coordination or workflow management responsibilities. These individuals may oversee coordination of multiple department activities to include classroom logistics, program coordination, survey reporting, scheduling, and more. They will advocate for learning initiatives, ensuring those initiative align with business goals. They analyze and assess learning data to make recommendations for new TD programs. These professionals also build external partnerships and collaborate with myriad stakeholders to ensure the success of employee development programs. They will often have budget oversight and may represent the function at the executive level. Successful professionals in these roles combine presentation skills, influencing skills, project management, goal setting, and team building skills to create positive department collaboration and cooperation.
